Loki of Borg. Resistance is futile. Sorry, this had to be done.
I love Star Trek TNG, Data, & his 'evil' brother Lore maybe even more so, the basically malfunctioning, rebellious & very emotional 'second[-rate] son' who turned 'bad' to 'prove' himself to his 'father'. Very much like Loki.
Lore once tried to take over Starfleet with his group of rogue, 'made-aware' Borg against The Federation of Planets - & failed, because of his 'perfect' & 'emotionless' brother Data successfully foiling it. Very much like Thor foiled Loki's attempt to take control of Earth.
If Loki would have had an army of superior Borg with their galactic Borg Cubes, rather than the less cybernetically enhanced Chitauri & their rather vulnerable Leviathans, he'd probably succeeded in ultimately ruling Earth & assimilate us all into the collective Borg hive-mind.
It would be simpler, our natural state. It's the unspoken truth of humanity that we crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes our life's joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity. We were made to be ruled. In the end, we will always kneel. Because, freedom is life's great lie. Once we accept that, in our heart, we will know peace.
Thor-Loki looks very much like Lore, but I gave him fuller Avengers hair again to look more badass in his impressive Borg armour. Loki head shot courtesy of the 'mountain scene' between him & Thor.
Sorry about the quality of this, but the original screenshot is so grainy, I had to overlay the image with some equalising noise to make it appear seamless & 'clean', where blurring or smoothing doesn't cut it, literally. Note, this is an edit, to match the hair now in this new one > [link]
