Here's another one from the mega-successful SDCC event. A smiling, happy Loki.
Keeping in line with my new-found love for sharpening up all the armour & hair to make it look more '3D'-like, this is to match the first digi painting in the series: admiraldemoy.deviantart.com/ar…
I added a bit more hair again, bushier eyebrows, defined the shoulders, painted in the shoulder guard better. I gave it all more texture again, highly sharpened in places, & of course, green eyes. No extra spotlights of pixie lights this time, just pure Chiaroscuro.

Oh, wow! This is not only realistic but also extra rich. That makes it so much more meaningful than a photograph could ever capture.
I've seen this quality in both your paintings and your pencil drawings. It's amazing that it comes through in any medium you use.
