Well, with yet more pictures being released from the Hetherington Flaunt photoshoot, it came with a short clip this time, with Tom posing & reciting poetry, talking about acting. I took a series of screenshots, & settled to paint one from that very frame, for obvious reasons.
Since the hair was pretty much in the dark in the original shot, all I did was rough-feather-brush it in with a few 'lowlights', rather than paint out each hair again & pixie-dust it - or lengthen it. I wanted to concentrate more on the expression & hand only this time, & of course, that seal ring. The extra 'wall lights' are in place of that ripped wallpaper I had no intention of recreating & instead gave it all a warm skin-toned-colour background. Oh yes, & dark-purple-blue eyes, & more shine to make it all look glossier. Sorry, again, no beard or stubble.
After seeing the clip Flaunt released, I finally found out where in fact they took the series of photos. It was not as suspected the house they filmed in for OLLA in Detroit, but this one much closer to home > www.castlegibson.com/locations… & you can clearly see the various spots they had used. No difference, my Loki or 'Adam' in the OLLA series, fits in just nicely with the 'creepy setting'.

Wonderful work. My favorite part of the painting is the way you captured the expression of his face. I also like his hand, especially with regards to the lighting and shadows.
