Loki - The Dark World XIII Version I

Another digi painting from the latest TDW featurette explaining a few things that were obscure to us, like the terrible state of his shirt & now even smashed surroundings & wounded foot. Loki having reached his spiritual death while isolated inside his cell - after what horrible loss we all know now of has come to his attention, with disastrous results. Total meltdown. An outcast son in grievous mourning. 

Taken from a screenshot, I entirely omitted the things that lie scattered around him, the broken furniture & books he destroyed in rage & grief, by hand, by magic, to make it look even more desolate & cold, with only Loki sprawled on the floor entirely destroyed, & his bleeding foot unattended. Alone & forgotten, not even worthy to be informed of the tragedy as smallest of honourable courtesy by those he grew up with. No, a mere guard informed him. How cruel. It can be assumed that he injured himself during his violent fits, maybe having raged on for days, ripping his clothes to shreds, stained with his own blood perhaps. 

I added what little is there of the background, & some blood stains on the wall, in place of the smudge marks seen in some of the frames, but not in others, which could by all means be indeed different days of shooting. As with the first work I did in the 'cell series', I emphasised more on the blood/stains on his hands, & this time fashioned the dirtied torn shirt more meticulously in the same pattern again as the previous one. admiraldemoy.deviantart.com/ar… Adding texture to the leather pants just so it doesn't look too smooth.
